Darryl Mayers is stepping down from his role as co-CEO of Investec Property Fund (IPF) after four years. He will also leave full employment at the financial institution where he has had a 13 year career.
Mayers has been a stalwart in the commercial property industry, helping his co-CEO at IPF, Andrew Wooler and his team to expand the fund into Europe. The team has also rationalised IPF’s domestic portfolio.
Mayers said he would contract to IPF as commercial property remains a huge part of his life and something he is passionate about.
“The property sector remains my happy place and I plan to spend time pursuing opportunities in this sector as well as contracting to IPF to unlock potential of its assets and to act in an advisory capacity to the team,” he said.
