Kidax AI has announced the launch of FaceTrace, an AI-assisted identity verification platform designed to support businesses in strengthening their onboarding and risk management frameworks.
The launch follows a recent case widely reported in South African media involving an individual subject to an international law enforcement notice who had been employed at a prominent gym in Cape Town. The Constantia Case — A Cautionary Tale
As widely reported across South African media, the individual in question was on Interpol’s radar for serious drug-related offences. Despite being employed in a role that gave him daily access to hundreds of members of the public, standard pre-employment screening processes failed to flag his status.
