Former Emira CEO, Geoff Jennett
It’s unclear if Emira’s previous CEO Geoff Jennett left over a difference in strategic vision between him and the company’s largest shareholder, Castleview. He left after around 10 years in his role. He had replaced James Templeton, having been the CFO under Templeton. Templeton is now CEO Castleview Property Fund, which is a major shareholder in Emira. He is also Emira’s chairman.
Emira released financial results last week. It’s unclear if Jennett’s team choosing to invest in American “power retail centres” or its recent invesmtent in Polish logistics had upset the board or if his strategy was not in sync with what the board wanted. Jennett will be succeeded by James Day, the current chief financial officer at Castleview, as from July 1 2025.
