The Dis-chem head office and distribution centre in Midrand has been sold. Dis-chem was paying about R4.6m in rent each month. Dis-chem as a group will own all of its offices and distribution centres.
Before the sale, the property was owned by Columbia Falls Properties 7 which is owned by Adventures Trust. Founders Ivan and Lynette own 78% of this trust via Ivlyn (ltd). In the past two years, the founders have sold three warehouses to the Dis-Chem group for more than R200m.
