Of course, it’s not without its challenges, onboarding entire agencies takes time, and we’re constantly refining our approach to make the process as smooth as possible.
Agencies appreciate that we don’t subscribe to the ‘race to the bottom’ mentality when it comes to agent commissions. On the Hoom platform, the minimum commission is set at 4%. This ensures agents are rewarded, while still allowing sellers to find competitive rates. We also encourage and educate sellers to consider the whole package which is the agent’s experience, services, and market knowledge and not just the commission percentage. This approach attracts top-quality agents who prioritise client satisfaction and understand the importance of building long-term relationships.
